Mark Adorno

Mark has been a lifeline to two elderly gentleman with dementia during the pandemic. Not only has he been a companion to them, he’s also developed new cleaning regimes to comply with tough new guidelines, working with mutual aid groups on how to keep vulnerable people safe. Both families have said Mark, from Adorno companion service in Bristol and South Glos, has looked after both men’s mental health and wellbeing as well as their homes- and didn’t even mind when he was served tea in a gravy boat!

Margreth has been an “angel” helping a vulnerable widow, according to her family. She has helped this lady stay in her own home and listened to her thoughts and needs to ensure she always stayed as upbeat as possible in challenging times. Emma at Adorno said: “A big thank you to both Mark and Margreth they have gone above and beyond to ensure people who are on their own with certain needs stay safe and supported and also positive though this difficult pandemic.”
