We want to promote personal choice at every possible opportunity whilst improving well-being. We believe everyone deserves the very best quality of care. Our companions are available weekdays 8am – 6pm. We also consider requests for special events.
Developing a companion friendship, will allow us to support building and nurturing relationships outside of the home and within local groups. So, whatever your requirements are – from shopping or simply popping round for a cup of tea and a chat, Adorno Companions will work with you to achieve them and make sure you have some fun along the way.
All of our companions are enhanced DBS checked and are recruited via a 2 stage interview process including a face to face interview.
They must progress through an internal induction and training programme and are issued with first aid kits and charged spare phone batteries.
Our companions are all encouraged to become Dementia Friends.
